Four equipped rehearsal rooms, established electronic repairs, studio accessories and recording experience in Telford.
Rehearsal rooms
Every room includes drum shells and stands, guitar amplifiers, a bass amplifier and vocal PA. Bands can reserve up to four vocal microphones free when booking. The sound-treated rooms also have heating, fans and free Wi‑Fi.
Electronic Repairs UK
Established in 2005 as Eastment Electronics, the repair business handles amplifiers and musical equipment from the same Telford premises. Diagnostic work, electronic repair, servicing and PAT testing enquiries are welcome.
Our guitar-work partner
The Smashroom works with Jamie at J. Davey Custom Guitars for specialist guitar and bass work. His services include setups, rewiring, fret work and refretting, headstock and structural repairs, bridge, nut and saddle work, pickup modifications, vintage restoration and refinishing.
Gear essentials
Useful accessories are available from reception, including guitar and bass strings, leads, drumsticks and hearing protection. Stock varies—message ahead and the studio will check.
Recording experience
The Smashroom has worked with local, national and international artists including Eumeria, People Are Things, Kevin Bayliss, Lucky Singh and Full Circle. Recording availability is currently by enquiry.
Before your rehearsal
Bring your cymbals, drumsticks and any personal hardware you prefer. Drum shells and stands are supplied, with a cymbal pack available to add when booking.
Bring your instruments, pedals and personal cables. Core guitar and bass amplification is included.
Reserve up to four vocal microphones free when booking. Soft drinks, alcoholic drinks for customers aged 18+, chocolate, crisps and other refreshments are available to buy at reception.
Please return the room, microphones, stands, leads and equipment to the original setup for the next band. Report any damage immediately; the booking group is responsible for loss or damage it causes.
